Lakeland, Florida: You officially have a Ford's Garage in your back yard! We had a few locals come out and review the new location.
Here are a few snippets...
This restaurant is part of a small chain that began in 2012 in Fort Myers, Florida and after one meal you’ll understand why they’re expanding. The food is great – outstanding, in fact. And the same can be said about the beer selection.
The Lakeland Ledger
In addition to vintage vehicles, gas pumps and fixtures, the restaurant’s décor features prohibition-style elements such as old brick, wood and a hand-hammered copper bar top. The menu includes a bevy of burgers made with Black Angus beef, along with comfort staples like meat loaf, grilled salmon, pulled pork sandwiches.
Ford’s Garage gathers together a unique experience of the American automotive dream. Vintage American cars all around the outside and inside with a classic burger and fries takes you back to a time when things were more simple…like gas being 75 cents rather than 2 dollars and 75 cents. This time capsule of a restaurant not only brings a great family friendly atmosphere to Lakeland but also brings delicious taste along for the American ride.
Ford’s Garage combines the look of a 1920s’ service station with the feel of a modern-day “around the corner” Prime Burger and Craft Joint. Ford’s features 137 beers, one of the largest selections of American Craft Beer in town.
